We are the Little Band

WE PROVIDE ......................Music and fun for your celebration. This may be a Wedding, Special Birthday, Anniversary, or just an excuse for a good night.

THE EVENT ......................We are available for events in Lincolnshire, North East Lincolnshire, Humberside, and Yorkshire, or maybe further afield.

THE EVENING ......................can be organized to your requirements, but essentially consists of Dances, with breaks. Our caller will assist you through the Dances, so that even guests with no previous knowledge of can enjoy the event.

WE HAVE ......................our own Sound system which provides good, sensible levels of sound, which can clearly be followed by the dancers, but equally with a level where your guests can converse without shouting.

THE BAND ......................Our line up is drawn from Fiddles, Flute, Guitars and Bass, who together with our Caller give a light and airy, but strongly rhythmic sound, ideally suited for dancing.

OUR MUSIC ......................Our performance consists of mainly Traditional tunes from Ireland, Scotland and England, with a selection of American, Shetland, and Scandanavian tunes. We also include occasional tunes from other traditions.

OUR DANCES ......................come from similar traditions and are clearly and jovially explained and demonstrated to your guests, prior to the music starting for each dance.

OUR CALLER ......................We bring as part of our team an experienced caller whose function is to MC the evening and direct the dances.

OUR INTENTION ......................To entertain your guests and ensure everyone has a good time.
